What is your Motto?
Be 1 in a million, not 1 of a million....
What is your Aim?
As a self representing artist Terry creates designer pieces in small quantities without the hefty price tag.
Ok, so what’s the trick?
There isn’t one, Terry achieves this by being an independent personalized
service; no expensive boutique store in the ‘right’ location, no glossy
brochures, mass junk mailings or magazine advertising. Without all
those overheads to cover all the value is in the materials used, her time is spent on design not marketing.
Why does Aviya do this? We
all know the panic before an important occasion…. Will anyone have the
same outfit? Will they look better in it? I got a bargain will they
know where I got it AND what I paid???
The
same goes for gift buying, what are the chances that by the time your
friend spots that gift you spent ages looking for the item is marked
down?
How did you get started?
This may sound bold but Terry started out by wearing her own art and hoping people will ask where she got it! It worked and she continues to get orders and commissions. Terry has sold many items to family, friends and people she knows - much more daunting than selling to someone you will never meet. Terry cares what they think of her and she values her integrity. Selling to people Terry sees all the time and gaining repeat orders – there is no greater compliment or stamp of approval.

How do I know this is made in UK?
Terry gives you her personal assurance that items may be similar in design but nothing is mass produced and all pieces are hand-crafted in her studio in Kent. The dichroic glass pieces are one of a kind as the process of fusing and fire polishing in the kiln ensures originality.

What does Aviya Glass stand for?
Design, integrity and bespoke opportunities at affordable prices. The
convenience of 24/7 shopping without the hassle or the pressure!
What does Aviya Glass stand against? Mass
production, poor quality, expensive P&P and the perception that you
have to spend a fortune to have unique accessories or buy someone an
extra special gift.
If it’s working so well, why the website? People Terry knows kept telling her of the compliments they received and wanted website details, when this became a recurring theme Terry knew it was time to go online. Click here to read some comments received.
